Mrs. Aderonke Arinola Ajibola is a legal practitioner and a 1982 LL.B. graduate of the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University). She also holds an LL.M. (Master of Laws) from the same institution. She attended the Nigerian Law School and was called to the Bar in 1983. She had a brief stint in legal practice with Olisa Chukura SAN from 1985 before joining the Obafemi Awolowo University as a staff member in 1990. Initially, she worked in the Faculty of Law before moving to the Legal Unit of the University Registry. She progressed through the ranks of the University until she became a Deputy Registrar and Head of the Legal Unit. In 2006, she was appointed as the foundation Executive Director of the Obafemi Awolowo University Advancement Office, responsible for raising funds and support from alumni and external stakeholders of the university. Subsequently, she became the Director of Council Affairs, handling and dealing with all matters pertaining to external and internal members of the University Council, a position she held from 2016 until her retirement in 2023. Mrs. Ajibola is currently a member of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators.
